I had tried to convert it, but this was very unefficient so from scratch it was... Deathmatch : Of course :p Cooperative : Maybe later. New textures : Yep loads. New sounds : Nope. Players : 3-10 recommended *Construction* Base : From scratch, original level used as reference. Editor used : Worldcraft v3.3, Valve Hammer Editor v3.4, Zoners Compile Tools, DEU, DeepSea, Wally & Paint Shop Pro 7. Build time : 3 1/2 months on & off. Known bugs : None. Compile time : 30mins on a XP2600 512DDR 2700. ========================================================================================= Notes : This map was actually completed 2 months ago... but I wasn't happy with it so I retextured the entire map & reworked some new areas & removed the destructible glass for the sake of lower end machines. The original Doom architecture remains intact with an extra drainage tunnel & doorway. R_Speeds are generally very low, should be give good pings & high frame rates :) I've learnt a lot from making this map (Namely not letting leaks get out of control lol) & I'd expect my next will be much better. It has been very hard restricting myself to keeping the original design since I didn't want to sidetrack to much but I believe I've pulled it off along with adding some extra detail & nice lighting. Edit : All leaks have been fixed and some detailing has been 'smoothed' to improve gameplay. Hence much smaller file size, 4.5mb to 2.5mb uncompressed :) Buttons are now operated by touch aswell. ========================================================================================= Installation : Extract doomed.bsp & doomed.txt to the valve/maps directory : If you have the AG mod installed you can install the location file : doomed.loc to the aghl/locs directory.
