Turgeon_README.txt 10:40 04OCT99 This model is based on the Nation Hockey League player Pierre Turgeon, from the St. Louis Blues. Pierre is a playmaking scorer and one of my favorite players. Created with Chumbalum Soft's Milkshape 3D and wouldn't have been possible without Scarecrow's tutorials from Coldfusion. Various parts of this model were very loosely based on other models from Valve. While I created the entire model myself, I recreated some of the arms and torso from styles that they used (to avoid pinching in the shoulder areas). I'd also like to thank my wife for putting up with me while I made this model. #vertices: 453 #triangles: 851 #groups: 3 #bones: 40 #materials: 3 sgroups: 1 The Bluenote is a trademark of the St. Louis Blues and the NHL. Turgeon and his likeness are represented by the NHLPA. The CCM, Easton and Mission logos are the properties of their respective companies. To use this model for Half-Life simply create a new folder named 'Turgeon' (NO QUOTES!) in: ...\Half-Life\valve\models\player\... Un-zip the Turgeon.mdl and .bmps into the new Turgeon folder. Turgeon is an ice-hockey player. But, due to the fact that not many maps have ice, I put roller-hockey skates on him. Also, he doesn't exactly "skate" as much as he walks. If anyone wants to redo the animation so that he skates, feel free to do so. Otherwise, please do not use this model to make any other models or skins of other players without crediting me in your readme. I'd love to see other players done. Even Redwings, I guess. k_vandorn kvandorn@kupperparker.com
