This _text_ file describes pheonix.mdl - formed for Half_Life Deathmatch gaming. ================================ Model name: pheonix.mdl Model properties: vertices - 622 triangles - 660 materials - 2 (256x256, 128x128; body, face) What is it? Some wierd idea I had of making a pheonix. Since I had to go with a human-like form to use it with the skeleton - it became part pheonix, part humanish. Why? Just so I could give someone the bird! Who is the crazy dude that made it? Matt Thomas aka Gumby on WON - DeathMatch Master in training. Where? yargeth@kellnet.com What? It was made entirely in Milkshop - Yay! The awesome skin was created by meself using Paintshop Pro v 3. When? It was made today August 28th of the year 19 hundred and 99. Now What? I highly recommend that you give everyone the bird - if you like this model that is. Author's additional comments: This is my third attempt at making a model using Milkshake. Either I am getting better, or I am just too stupid to quit trying to make these things. I am not really satisfied with it yet, except for the wings, chain mail, and the really cool pants. I still suck badly at skinning, and can't seem to keep my triangles under control. Next project will be something very square, like that robot from Star Wars, Episode IV, I think. Better hurry tho, Milkshake spoils in 3 days! Am still trying to get my previous model, Gumby (the man of clay), to work right. He looks good until he crouches. With only 275 triangles it is worth trying to get it right. Mail me with any words of wisdom if you like - or kick my butt on WON like everyone else... Laters. Mattt
